Special Tour performances?[edit]

I noticed that no references are made to special performances of songs and samples used on several performances from Beyoncé's tours. I'm referring to things like "Check on It" being performed over the beat of "Palance" and Diva with "Clique" or certain songs that were part of the set list for certain dates like "Sweet Dreams" during the I Am Tour or "Resentment" during the Mrs Carter Show. Isn't worth mentioning in the notes below setlists? RatiziAngeloucontribs 00:30, 7 August 2013 (UTC)

Life Is But A Dream DVD[edit]

She's just announced that the documentary will be released on DVD, with a second disk with her Live At Atlantic City concert (Revel shows) also. Does a new page need to be created for the DVD, or does it just need to be added to the Life Is But a Dream page? Also, as the second disk is a live DVD, does this need to be added to her discography? --Lolcakes25 (talk) 20:24, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

It's like any other film; the DVD details can be included in the main article. Yes, it should be included in the discography. Adabow (talk) 20:27, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

4 FAC[edit]

I thought I'd drop a note in here regarding the featured article candidacy of 4. The article was archived on October 27 with 2 supports and 1 neutral decision on whether to promote, leading to no consensus. As it was quite close to being promoted (and it went through so much work), I intend to nominate it again in the near future, once some of the comments have been addressed. The main issue was the quality of the prose; parts of the article often had grammatical errors and redundant words that I was awful at finding. Thus, I was wondering if any members of WP:BEY had the time to look over the article it would greatly appreciated! Thanks! —JennKR | 00:16, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Flawless (Beyoncé Knowles song)[edit]

Hi, could someone re-assess Flawless (Beyoncé Knowles song)? The article is currently marked as start-class, but has been deleveloped heavily since that assessment. — Mayast (talk) 01:53, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

Track lists?[edit]

I noticed all of the articles for Beyoncé's albums don't include all versions of track lists with B'Day and IASF being the messiest. Check on It wasn't standard with the American release so why is it included without mention to it being an Int. bonus track? Or all the version of IASF that included remixes and different track order? The track lists really need to be looked at again. (talk) 17:55, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Project page move / move of the categories[edit]

I nominated WikiProject Beyoncé-related categories to be renamed (Beyoncé Knowles → Beyoncé) at WP:CFDS, and the nomination was objected, as the project page was moved without any discussion. If you feel that it should still be named "WikiProject Beyoncé Knowles", please move it back, and if the current name is going to stay, maybe you could support the move of the categories? — Mayast (talk) 13:34, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Support move of categories and keeping the project as WikiProject Beyoncé per talk page discussion at Beyoncé where it was indicated that all pertinent pages would be moved accordingly. —JennKR | 14:26, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Category:WikiProject Beyoncé Knowles[edit]

Obsessed (2009 film)[edit]

I am looking at renominating this article for GA, but after three failed GANs I want to know if anyone can spot any remaining glaring mistakes. If you could spare 5 minutes to give it a quick glance I would be grateful. Adabow (talk) 09:11, 20 February 2014 (UTC)

I Was Here track list and promo release?[edit]

Seems to be a promotional release of "I Was Here" was released. Did not know if it was worth noting or if it was official. A google search turned up this exact track list on several sites with some varying cover art.

  1. I Was Here (Redtop club (12") mix) 7:13
  2. I Was Here (WaWa Anthem Mix) 6:32
  3. I Was Here (StrictLove Beach House Club Mix) 6:58
  4. I Was Here (J-C Club Mix) 7:46
  5. I Was Here (Original Version) 3:59

Unless it was available to purchase direct from the label as a general release, we don't list promotional releases as these are not intended for the general public. → Lil-℧niquԐ 1 - { Talk } - 20:54, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

Live in Atlantic City[edit]

I created an article about Live in Atlantic City which can be seen here. I need opinions if I should publish it or not. My love is love (talk) 16:58, 13 July 2014 (UTC)

The extra content there can be included in Life Is But a Dream, but I think separating the two articles means too much doubling-up on information, and it's not like it would create a ridiculously large article. Adabow (talk) 21:02, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
Actually @Adabow: it will be something similar to I'm Going to Tell You a Secret (album). There will be something like the album section of the film. And the information in the Life Is But a Dream article about the DVD release will be reduced and the template Main article will be included. Plus the article is long enough to become a GA. My love is love (talk) 16:51, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
Oh OK, yeah go for it. Adabow (talk) 21:40, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

Destiny's Child articles[edit]

I need an opinion about this. Should Destiny's Child-related articles be included in this WikiProject? I Am... ***D.D. 10:38, 1 September 2014 (UTC)

My vote is yes. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:12, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

Comment on the WikiProject X proposal[edit]

Hello there! As you may already know, most WikiProjects here on Wikipedia struggle to stay active after they've been founded. I believe there is a lot of potential for WikiProjects to facilitate collaboration across subject areas, so I have submitted a grant proposal with the Wikimedia Foundation for the "WikiProject X" project. WikiProject X will study what makes WikiProjects succeed in retaining editors and then design a prototype WikiProject system that will recruit contributors to WikiProjects and help them run effectively. Please review the proposal here and leave feedback. If you have any questions, you can ask on the proposal page or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you for your time! (Also, sorry about the posting mistake earlier. If someone already moved my message to the talk page, feel free to remove this posting.) Harej (talk) 22:47, 1 October 2014 (UTC)

TFAR notification[edit]

I've nominated a WP:FA article related to this project for WP:TFAR consideration as Today's Featured Article, please see discussion at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/Irreplaceable. — Cirt (talk) 20:40, 18 November 2014 (UTC)

WikiProject X is live![edit]

WikiProject X icon.svg

Hello everyone!

You may have received a message from me earlier asking you to comment on my WikiProject X proposal. The good news is that WikiProject X is now live! In our first phase, we are focusing on research. At this time, we are looking for people to share their experiences with WikiProjects: good, bad, or neutral. We are also looking for WikiProjects that may be interested in trying out new tools and layouts that will make participating easier and projects easier to maintain. If you or your WikiProject are interested, check us out! Note that this is an opt-in program; no WikiProject will be required to change anything against its wishes. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Note: To receive additional notifications about WikiProject X on this talk page, please add this page to Wikipedia:WikiProject X/Newsletter. Otherwise, this will be the last notification sent about WikiProject X.

"Die with You"[edit]

I created the redirect "Die with You" until project members feel there is enough material about the song to justify an article. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:33, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

Update: This page is now a stub, after Beyoncé released a second music video to commemorate her 9th wedding anniversary. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:59, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

Can I (song)[edit]

Project members are welcome to assist with the expansion of Can I (song), a new Drake song featuring Beyonce. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:25, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

Blow (Beyoncé song)[edit]

Is anyone willing to try promoting Blow (Beyoncé song) to good article status? ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:08, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Marking this section as resolved since the article has been promoted. ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:00, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

Ivy Park[edit]

This new article could use expanding, and might be pretty easy to promote to Good status. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:13, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

Popular pages report[edit]

We – Community Tech – are happy to announce that the Popular pages bot is back up-and-running (after a one year hiatus)! You're receiving this message because your WikiProject or task force is signed up to receive the popular pages report. Every month, Community Tech bot will post at Wikipedia:WikiProject Beyoncé/Popular pages with a list of the most-viewed pages over the previous month that are within the scope of WikiProject Beyoncé.

We've made some enhancements to the original report. Here's what's new:

  • The pageview data includes both desktop and mobile data.
  • The report will include a link to the pageviews tool for each article, to dig deeper into any surprises or anomalies.
  • The report will include the total pageviews for the entire project (including redirects).

We're grateful to Mr.Z-man for his original Mr.Z-bot, and we wish his bot a happy robot retirement. Just as before, we hope the popular pages reports will aid you in understanding the reach of WikiProject Beyoncé, and what articles may be deserving of more attention. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at m:User talk:Community Tech bot.

Warm regards, the Community Tech Team 17:16, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
