This is a notice to let you know about Article alerts, a fully-automated subscription-based news delivery system designed to notify WikiProjects and Taskforces when articles are entering Articles for deletion, Requests for comment, Peer review and other workflows (full list). The reports are updated on a daily basis, and provide brief summaries of what happened, with relevant links to discussion or results when possible. A certain degree of customization is available; WikiProjects and Taskforces can choose which workflows to include, have individual reports generated for each workflow, have deletion discussion transcluded on the reports, and so on. An example of a customized report can be found here.
If you are already subscribed to Article Alerts, it is now easier to report bugs and request new features. We are also in the process of implementing a "news system", which would let projects know about ongoing discussions on a wikipedia-wide level, and other things of interest. The developers also note that some subscribing WikiProjects and Taskforces use the display=none parameter, but forget to give a link to their alert page. Your alert page should be located at "Wikipedia:PROJECT-OR-TASKFORCE-HOMEPAGE/Article alerts". Questions and feedback should be left at Wikipedia talk:Article alerts.

Are there any members in this project who are willing to translate the Finnish article above either to English, Swedish or Norwegian (with regard to the nationality of the member)? Thanks! Mbakkel2 (talk) 11:37, 7 November 2015 (CET)
The Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic) has recently been created, a challenge for editors from this project and other Nordic area nations to demonstrate 1000 improvements and creations on English wikipedia. Sign up and add your articles there if interested!
Moi! I am a new wikipedia editor, so I decided that members in Finland could organise a meetup in Helsinki. I am not very experienced in doing this, so I need some help. FriyMantalk 13:22, 5 March 2017 (UTC)

Talk:Moomin According to some sources (the foreword by TJ) the first book was partially written during the Winter War 1939-1940 and finished 1944-1945 (so probably after the Continuation War), other sources say during WWII 1939-1945. Please help.Xx236 (talk) 10:15, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
