Move?[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was moved. Trevj, I'm still not sure I understand all that, so you should double check to see if I miss any associated cleanup. --BDD (talk) 18:09, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Physics Member NavboxWikipedia:WikiProject Physics/Member Navbox – I believe that project templates are usually within project space, e.g. Wikipedia:WikiProject Physics/Article alerts, despite being technically transcluded as templates. One such example I know of is Wikipedia:WikiProject Computing/sidebar: this has broadly the same function as a project navbox, although its layout differs. This may seem a pedantic request but the reason is that Template:Physics Member Navbox helpfully transcludes Wikipedia:WikiProject Physics/Article alerts, which includes wikilinks to various current discussion articles, etc. What links here for such recently discussed pages, e.g. Charles Bruce (physicist) then shows the navbox under template space. Consequently, it's also linked to under user space, apparently because project members have understandably transcluded Template:Physics Member Navbox on their user pages. This requested move doesn't seem to me to be overly controversial, and would seem to be in line with other projects, but I thought it best to list here just in case. The proposed move would result in What links here giving results which are less unexpected, in line with use elsewhere. (Sorry for the ramble.) Thanks for reading. -- Trevj (talk) 11:42, 8 November 2013 (UTC) -- Trevj (talk) 11:42, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you I'll double check and follow up here. -- Trevj (talk) 18:35, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This seems to have largely addressed the issue. I've amended a lot of the transclusions (per WP:NOBAN for others' user pages), and will leave it at that. Cheers. -- Trevj (talk) 14:29, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
