question regarding a Pittsburgh antique dealer's estate

[edit]

Hello,

Asking people familiar with the Pittsburgh region if you can provide us over at Talk:Fake or Fortune? with the identity of a female antique dealer, who must have passed aware relatively recently. There was an estate sale, it happened relatively recently (likely only a few years ago), regarding a local female antique dealer that operated in the area "for 40 years."

Any details on how or why this dealer might have come into the possession of works of art once in the possession of the Laughlin family, the iron & steel magnates, would be especially welcome.

If you think you might have any information on this, and are curious what this is about, please start by watching the fourth episode of the 13th season of the BBC program Fake or Fortune?, titled "Portrait of a Lady - in Pittsburgh?", first broadcast August 11, 2025.

Don't hesitate to be in touch over at Talk:Fake or Fortune? Cheers CapnZapp (talk) 10:45, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

So far clues point to Jane Roesch, wife of William Roesch. CapnZapp (talk) 20:02, 21 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
