Review request for Draft:Sternenko Community Foundation

[edit]

Hi! I've created a draft for one of the largest Ukrainian drone supply funds. It has official strategic cooperation with the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and raised over 3.1B UAH in 2025. Could a member of the project please take a look at it? I have declared my COI on the talk page. Thanks! Gutulya (talk) 20:45, 24 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion regarding administrative divisions terminology

[edit]

Hello. I and 0DF have discussed a number of issues at Talk:Poliske settlement hromada that might be of interest to many members of the WikiProject, and we'd appreciate the participation of other editors to resolve them. One of the main topics is the translation of the староста округ (starosta okruh); the proposed names are starostynskyi okruh, aldermanry, starosta's okruh/okrug/district/ward/circuit, and others. Other topics include inconsistent names (especially the use of transliterated adjective forms rather than noun adjuncts for Dnistrovskyi Raion & Prystolychna rural hromada) and plurals of administrative divisions (oblasts vs oblasti). Any comments are welcome to further the discussion. Thanks. Shwabb1taco 21:00, 1 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Russian principalities

[edit]

Why is the article about Rus' principalities called "Russian principalities"? From what I understand, the term “Russian” may be anachronistic in this context, since it can be associated with the modern state of Russia rather than the historical entity of Rus'. Could someone clarify the reasoning behind the current title? Are there reliable sources that support this terminology? If not, would it make sense to consider renaming the article to a more precise and historically neutral term? Alexcloudd (talk) 08:50, 30 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I think that "Russian" has been used as an adjective in the sense "of Rus'". I don't know if it can be considered a WP:COMMONNAME. If not, "Rus' principalities" can be a legitimate option. Alaexis¿question? 11:12, 30 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
