  • This is the first time the Wipeout Zone only consists of three contestants instead of four.
    • Kelsey Schulte was the fastest time of all the Winners in the Winter Wipeout Zone. Also first to clear the Sinister Snowflakes on her first try.
  • This episode received 11.690 million viewers and 3.8/11 (18-49).[1]
  • This episode was the second to have a Wipeout Zone with only one male. Season 2 Episode 14 was the first.

Title reference: The "Nana's House" and "Big Balls" courses, although the title has them in reverse. This spoofs the song "Over The River And Through The Woods".

  • Kelsey Schulte is a second contestant to beat the Wipeout Zone faster than the Qualifier. (Christian Readyhoff was the 1st, who holds the record of Wipeout's fastest wipeout zone time of 55 seconds)

  • Title reference: Contestant Myron Nilsson said that he was bitten by a Beaver. During Myron's run on the Qualifier, a doodle of a giant beaver saying (with Henson's voice) "Fear the beaver!", "slapping" Myron with its tail before the contestant wipes out. This spoofs the song title "(Don't Fear) The Reaper".
  • 8.256 million people tuned in and this episode received a 2.6/7 (18-49) share.[2]

** Jacob is the fourth to clear the Frostbite on his first try but still fell in the water. He also is second to clear the Sinister Snowflakes (Kelsey Shulte was the first). He was also the third to have his run in the Wipeout Zone faster than the Qualifier. *** Britney Beavis's nickname was John Henson saying "Beavis" as Butt-head from Beavis and Butt-head

  • This is the first all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.

Adult Film Star Taylor Wane (using her real name Joanna Dutremble) was the first contestant of the episode. She completed the qualifier with a time of 07:42, but did not qualify for round 2.

** This is the second time John Henson was outside (for the Ice Arena).

  • Title reference: A contestant named Alyssa has "Bieber Fever" and it seems Henson caught it as well before the first commercial break, suggested by two things: continuous talking about him (though Anderson, and later himself, realize this), and a hairstyle similar to his. After the commercial break, he seems to go back to normal. Later, the "Wipeout" Ice Arena was introduced in the 3rd round with big hockey pucks.

  • Title reference: In the Qualifier, the contestants had to cross an obstacle known as the "Holiday Hams". It's a play-on words to the nursery rhyme This Little Piggy.
  • This is the third all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.
  • Edward Monroy became the first contestant to get second place in all of the 4 events.

Anastasia is the very first contestant on Wipeout to hold a world record. ( Later, Otis Pittman would be second. ) She holds the world record as of 2011 for 7,457 points on the 1996 game Bop-It.

Daniel Fritz was the second winner to be runner-up in all events, except the wipeout zone. Melia Quiray was the first.
