Wyzo is a web browser based on Mozilla Firefox by Radical Software Ltd. The authors claim it is intended to download and manage all types of media, and they are naming it a Media Browser[peacock term] instead of a web browser. It is currently[when?] in Beta development stage and supports Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X but not Linux.
FireTorrent is an extension for the BitTorrent Protocol that runs on Mozilla Firefox and the Wyzo web browser. It places torrent downloads in the same window as normal downloads, and bears similarity to the official BitTorrent client. It is recognized as being easier to use for the inexperienced torrent user than standalone BitTorrent clients, but offers fewer options. It is built upon P2P Innovate technology.
Some of the modifications are:
- A new skin, with an orange colour scheme.
- A new homepage, which includes 33 search engines.
- Native integration with FireTorrent.
