Xuxa e os Duendes (English: Xuxa and the Elves) is a 2001 Brazilian film, directed by Paulo Sérgio de Almeida. The film is starring Xuxa Meneghel. The film tells the story of Kira, a botanical living an incredible adventure in an attempt to save a trapped elf on a wall by a powerful magical force. The feature film had an average of 2.6 million viewers.[1]

Plot

Kira is a special botanist, who can talk with plants and has the gift of predicting the future. Her best friend is Nanda, a little girl who lives in a beautiful home in Tijuca Forest, about to be evicted because the father is unemployed. The girl's father, cornered, sells the house to two unscrupulous entrepreneurs who want to build there a polluting industry. One day, Kira and Nanda help save an elf found in her room and their lives changes direction.[2]
