Zawada [zaˈvada] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szydłowo, within Piła County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Szydłowo, 8 km (5 mi) north-west of Piła, and 90 km (56 mi) north of the regional capital Poznań.

The village has a population of 284.
