The Zee Gold Awards (Also Known as Boroplus Gold Awards or Gold Awards) are an annual awards show that honor the best performers in Indian television industry.[1][2] These were first awarded in the year 2007. Boroplus is the Title sponsor for last 7 editions.[3]

The awards are presented in various areas of excellence, such as popular programming (including music programmes, news and entertainment programmes, sports, travel, lifestyle and fashion, etc.), best television channel in a particular category (news, sports, entertainment, etc.), technical awards and so on and are managed by Vikas Kalantari.[4]


  • It is an annual Indian television award show awarded to various artistes of Indian soap opera for the respective years and also the first ever and the only Indian Television Awards to Globe Trot in recognizing excellence in Television Software Production as well as all other aspects he awards are presented to outstanding achievements, both in popular as well as technical branches and crafts.[5]
  • The award show represents the best achievements of the year in the opinion of those who themselves reside at the top of their craft and is for the Industry and by the Industry, i.e., The voting carried through the medium of mobile vans which run across the city at various locations therefore ensuring even the technical crew is able to vote, right from the Spot boys to Actors, including the Directors, Writers and Producers who are involved at the place of their television shoots.[6]
  • In the year 2007 & 2008, more than 300 Television and Film Personalities attended the event held in Mauritius & Dubai.[7][8][9]
