My contributions

I wrote several articles between 2006 and 2008 My work includes:

Three new pages on medieval battles:

• The Battle of Levounion,
• The Battle of Sirmium, and
• The Battle of Beroia

Several new pages on Byzantine history;

• Byzantium under the Komnenoi
• The Komnenian army
• The Komnenian restoration
• Byzantine civilisation in the twelfth century
• Decline of the Byzantine Empire

I have also worked on Byzantine army, adding some new sections and images, and I have worked on History of Athens.

Istanbul, June 2006

After a trip to Istanbul in June, I did a lot of work on Constantinople. I worked also to improve John II Komnenos, and apart from these there are various smaller contributions to pages like Kingdom of Jerusalem.

However, my biggest contributions were to the Byzantine Empire, Manuel I Komnenos and Byzantium under the Komnenoi.
