Not sure why the account wasn't caught in the recent CU (WP:MEAT?). But the behavioral evidence here is overwhelming. The sock and the IP socks purvey the exact same Punjabi ethno POVPUSH as the network.

This is the only known sock network batting for inserting "Punjabic" into articles (diffs include past socks): [1], [2], [3]; census dribbling: [4], [5]; Others: [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12], [13].

IP socking (from the same ranges previous used by the network): [14], [15], [16], [17], [18], [19], [20], [21], [22], [23], [24], [25], [26], [27], [28], [29], [30], [31], [32], [33], [34], [35], [36], [37], [38], [39], [40], [41], [42], [43], [44], [45].

While the behavioral evidence and IP socking here is pretty damning, reuesting CU which may adduce further results. The related 2407:d000:f::/48 range is already blocked, also asking for an extension of the block to 2A04:4A43:4F00:0:0:0:0:0/40 or similar considering the extensive socking coming from there. I believe there's a possibility that the CU might identify Trekkie49 as at least under "Possibly". Like PakistanHistorian's sock [55] they also added "Muslim" in front of "Punjabi" [56] at Mian Muhammad Bakhsh. --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:42, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I’m just chiming in to defend myself against this completely wrongful and misguided accusation as I have absolutely nothing to do with the account mentioned and that I’m accused of ‘sockpuppeting’. I have only recently started editing on Wikipedia and I’m still learning a lot and almost never engage in edit wars or anything similar unless there’s a lack of consistency in information or someone takes part in vandalism, which I always try to revert. Would be extremely kind and meaningful if I wasn’t dealt with harshly and had wrongful accusations thrown at me. I will try my best to keep improving my editing. Another thing I want to respond to is the accusation made by Fylindfotberserk that I’m somehow working with the account Adequatist but as you’ll find that that account has actually changed my edits entirely and added information that completely contradicted my edit. I actually wanted to revert edits by Adequatist as I thought it was vandalism but I didn’t want to end up in a situation where I was accused of edit warring with Adequatist. Rest assured, i can guarantee that I have absolutely no connection or similarity with that account. Just because they edited the a page at a similar time(by actually completely changing my edit) does not prove any link whatsoever. It would be extremely helpful if I didn't have completely wrong and hostile accusations thrown at me. I admit I might not be the best editor as I’m still trying to learn but please don’t wrongfully associate me with other accounts. TheTectonics was created the following day, on 8 September, and has exhibited the same WP:DUCK-like behavior by altering non-English scripts in WP Pakistan articles.
