Taylor is a pioneer in the world of the 5-string banjo, Taylor was the first person in history in the early 80's to take the banjo to the world wide rock-roll top-40 with Rick Dee's as a solo instrument and put the banjo out front to a whole different audience. Taylor started playing when he was six years of age, from their he and his brother formed the Taylor Twins an for many years they toured and open shows for the bluegrass greats such as Bill Monroe Carl Story Jim & Jesse and Stella Parton and many more, they also toured with The Nahville On The Road Show,they appeared on many network shows from the nashville network, Grand Ole Opry with Roy Acuff to ABC Regis & Kathie Lee show New York and they performed in many amusements parks such as Carowinds,Six Flags.
In the early 80's the twins went their seperate ways and thats when Todd took the banjo to places it had never been into rock-n-roll etc, Taylor is also known for being the first person in history to establish the World Record for the fastest banjo player in the world, Taylor has been A grammy Nominee four times and he continues to record and do many major tv shows and movies.
