I have no definite opinion on whether your removal of a section about Crick's religious views is appropriate, but I'll note that you've now removed it for a third time, and you have yet to give reasons on the article's Talk page that are justified in terms of Wikipedia policy. The first edit summary you used is the following:
Religious beliefs section is fine to have but this is not useful, relevant, or well written. Francis doesn't need others to speak for him on this topic.)
Wikipedia tends to go by what reliable sources have written, and this passage did have reliable sources. 'Useful, relevant or well-written' ought to be up to the consensus of editors to decide. Please explain your thinking further at Talk:Francis Crick. You also seem to be editing the article as 144.92.123.112 (talk · contribs). It helps keep things clear if you will remember to use your logged-in account. If you can provide other statements about Crick's religious thinking that are tied to reliable sources, you are welcome to add them. At first glance, you seem to be removing this material because you disagree with its conclusions, not because it is inappropriate for Wikipedia. EdJohnston (talk) 02:04, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
