Edit Summary Request[edit]

I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 16:02, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Humm...[edit]

So you are here too? I don't often log with my nick in en.wiki, it's probably why i don't saw you before ? ;) Supertoff 15:11, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PensFans4Ever[edit]

You are more than welcome to come and browse our past news from the Pittsburgh Penguins and any of the affiliates we have on our site. I cannot give you permission to republish them, because the are property of the Penguins, but if you are looking for facts maybe you can find what you are looking for.

Hello TaraO, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Pittsburgh Penguins 1968.gif) was found at the following location: User:TaraO. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 05:01, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: TBL[edit]

Thank you! I was really quite happy with the number of good photos I was able to get from the pre-game warm-up. Roberts and Stamkos were the only two "must haves" I was looking for, but it appears I also got good shots of every Czech on Tampa's roster too, heh. Resolute 00:33, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll have to go back through my photos from that game, however I believe I did get a picture of Recchi with Roberts. I might have one of him alone as well. I'll let you know. Resolute 17:55, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
--> Best image I had of Recchi. Cheers, Resolute 03:01, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Morenz[edit]

Thanks for pointing out that error. I'm a little surprised at myself for including that, and I'm glad someone caught it. Good luck working on the French article. Looking over it with my limited French abilities, I must say it looks tres bien. Kaiser matias (talk) 22:10, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Canadiens photos[edit]

All the photos I've added come from the Canadiens Centennial website. So long as the photos are in the public domain (before 1923 in the US, 1949 in Canada), they should be fine to upload. A little cropping of the expanded image is all I do prior to uploading. Kaiser matias (talk) 22:19, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adding new photos[edit]

While I would like to add those photos of Tiny Thompson to Commons, I can't. The image used on the article is a copyrighted image used under fair-use, which Commons doesn't allow. The other image from the HHOF website probably is still copyrighted, as it most likely was made in the US, and US copyright law covers anything made after 1923; Thompson started his career in 1928, so anything involving him would still be copyrighted. However, I don't know what the policies are on the French Wikipedia, but if they allow free-use images, you could possibly upload the image used on the Thompson article and give the same criteria as listed on the image description. Hope this explains everything. Kaiser matias (talk) 02:52, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

HC Litvínov[edit]

Hello. I have noticed your question on the identity of some of the HC Litvínov players which you have asked at the Czech Wikipedia, and recognized one of them. This is Jiří Šlégr. Hopefully, some colleagues will recognize more of them. Jan.Kamenicek (talk) 15:35, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I got the reference to Bowie's death from the book "Ultimate Hockey" by Glenn Weir, Jeff Chapman and Travis Weir (ISBN 0-7737-6057-1). Hope that helps. Kaiser matias (talk) 18:36, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
