This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Thandika Mkandawire, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.unrisd.org/unrisd/website/people.nsf/(httpPeople)/522134E6948B041680256B7400602D90?OpenDocument&subsection=staff+profiles. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 12:25, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Thandika Mkandawire[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Thandika Mkandawire, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? -- Andrew Mill (talk) 13:37, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Additions of http://.unrisd.org[edit]

It has become apparent that your account is only being used for spamming inappropriate external links or self-promotion, so it has been blocked indefinitely. Wikipedia is NOT a "repository of links" or a "vehicle for advertising" and persistent spammers will also have their websites blacklisted.

Dear Hu12, UNRISD is a non-profit agency of the United Nations who conducts important research into social development issues. We have been working this afternoon to add links to UNRISD work in relevant Wikipedia articles. We now understand that it is preferred that we add information to the Wikipedia articles and then add the articles in as references. Sorry, we are new to Wikipedia. Please could you confirm that you will not blacklist our website? And allow us to use the UNRISD account again? Any information/help would be appreciated.

UNRISD (talk) 14:28, 29 May 2008 (UTC) This account Will be permantly blocked, per Wikipedia:USERNAME#Inappropriate_usernames. I see no reason at this moment to blacklist your site (unless there are future violations), however please read the following.[reply]
