Hi! I've redacted sentences which were copied directly from Stanford's website because they represent a copyright violation. Wikipedia takes this pretty seriously, so we need to make sure that articles are written in the editor's own words and suitably referenced. Even if you're the author of the original profile, it is released on a page with Stanford's copyright on it. Please see WP:CV for details.
It's also worth noting that with a name like Visionscholar, the author of this draft is likely to be closely connected with its subject! Please be aware of issues surrounding conflict of interest when editing Wikipedia. In particular, it's not a good idea to create articles about yourself, your family or friends. Hi! I have added two sentences that give important context about Li's role at Google, as well as her departure from Google. Li's role in Project Maven and her emails about the project were covered in multiple reliable sources. They were also directly linked to her departure by multiple reliable sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Albie4773 (talk • contribs) 20:15, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Intercept leaked that internal email in May, 2018;[1] Google announced her departure September 10, 2018.[2] Neither Google nor Li says that Li left Google because of the leaked emails; conjoining the two events to imply one caused the other is WP:SYNTH aka post-hoc fallacy. The NYT is RS on these events. HouseOfChange (talk) 22:07, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
