Purification Rundown[edit]

I notice Scientology/Narconon's Purification Rundown isn't [yet] mentioned in this article. Perhaps it should be. Based on L. Ron Hubbard's advice (see Clear Body, Clear Mind) that "fat cells store toxins" and that sweating them out with a sauna regimen (while consuming oils to provide the body a source for replacing the "toxin-laden" fat cells") is an effective way of removing them. Surely it's not the only "sweat program" peddled for detoxification.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 21:20, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Recent changes by Dustfreeworld[edit]

I don't think the tags are appropriate for this article. WP:MEDDATE reads: "In many topics, a review that was conducted more than five or so years ago will have been superseded by more up-to-date ones, and editors should try to find those newer sources, to determine whether the expert opinion has changed since the older sources were written." There's nothing wrong with a 10 year old review article unless you can find more recent sources of the same or higher quality. Detox diets, like most pseudoscience, are not frequently the subject of high quality reviews. The 2015 British Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics review might be the best source available on the topic. Red Rock Canyon (talk) 06:09, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
