Starring actors[edit]
Hi @-ink&fables and @Wheezythewave: per infobox documentation, the explanation on starring parameter is "The show's starring cast. Cast are listed in original credit order followed by order in which new cast joined the show. Character names, years, or seasons should not be included.
", and in broadcast credit it is not just Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won whose names are shown but the ensemble cast, that's why I added this diff but you two removed the names. So what your take on this? 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 00:02, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @98Tigerius. I appreciate you providing the documentation, but have you seen any korean drama wiki article that include the ensemble cast under starring? Wheezythewave (talk) 00:44, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Wheezythewave: yes there are actually like Squid Game, Duty After School, The Glory, Moving, and the upcoming Light Shop. Another is Pachinko (even though an American drama but mostly the characters speaks in Korean). Those series based the starring actors on opening credits. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 01:02, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the example. The issue I see with this is that the aforementioned are streaming television series, as in, they're originals from streaming platforms. And most of them really are the main cast, just elongated. While the korean wiki article only includes the top two billing credits, personally, I think it is reasonable to include the main cast for this one. Wheezythewave (talk) 01:15, 8 April 2024 (UTC)

- @98Tigerius: Hello. This is the edit I made. We generally only list the main cast in the infobox. That is why I removed all other cast name other than the five main. Thank you. -ink&fables «talk» 12:12, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
