Sophie Phillips is an American politician. She is a Democratic member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing District 18.[1] First elected in 2022, she succeeded David Bentz after his retirement from office.[2] She was winner of the 2021 Miss Delaware beauty pageant.[3][4]

Biography[edit]

Philips has a Bachelor's Degree of Science and a Master's Degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware.[2][5]

Philips is of mixed African American, Indian, Caribbean, and European descent.[3][6]
