Birth-date

[edit]

Both August 25th and August 26th are given as dates in references. Originally this page used Aug. 26th and then someone changed it without reference. Both the Max Planck link and the Nobel link referenced use the Aug. 26th date as does Britannica. I will wait to see if there is any discussion on this and if not, will change it back to the 26th.Wiseprincebambi (talk) 01:52, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

racism

[edit]

Naturally an encyclopedia has to give all aspects of a person's life or ideas. It is unreasonable therefore to omit Richet's outspoken racist views (as for example when he says that squirrels are higher up in the intelligence ladder than negroes). 83.200.66.86 (talk) 07:41, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the information. It appears Richet was a racist. I will add some scholarly sources to the article that document this. HealthyGirl (talk) 18:26, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete sentence - typo removal or information addition?

[edit]

Context: “ Richet discovered the analgesic drug chloralose with [6]”

Being unable to find a co-discoverer - or any references to it (on a very quick google search), what action would be appropriate here?
