Question from Samarth099 (04:02, 28 May 2024)[edit]

Hello, Sir I want to ask you how to genuinely show you the record so that the previous edit can not be removed. --Samarth099 (talk) 04:02, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Samarth099. I'm not sure what your question is about, but I'm guessing it's about an edit you made that was subsequently WP:UNDONE by another person. Perhaps you'll find the answer you're looking for in Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Citation or Help:Referencing for beginners. Please note, that it's the WP:BURDEN of a person adding content to an article to provide a citation to a WP:RELIABLESOURCE for verification purposes, and unsourced content (except in clearly obvious cases) can be removed at anytime by another user. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:12, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Jay Blade Rivera on User:Jay Blade Rivera (11:59, 29 May 2024)[edit]

Hello,

This is the first time I am writing my information as a public figure in Wikipedia can you please verify the im doing this correctly. My interest is to leave my digital legacy information for the world to see. I will be responsible for the correct information added to your platform

Thanks in advance --Jay Blade Rivera (talk) 11:59, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In case you can't see JBR's deleted contributions, I have deleted one iteration of their user page as misuse as a webhost, bordering on blatant advertising. —C.Fred (talk) 12:05, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Jay Blade Rivera. Based upon what you posted above, it really sounds like you misunderstand what Wikipedia is about. Wikipedia's role isn't to help individuals leave their digital legacy, and it isn't intended to serve as a free personal web hosting platform. So, I suggest you take a close look at Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:The answer to life, the universe, and everything, for some general information that you might find helpful. If after reading through those pages, you decide that Wikipedia isn't really going to allow you to do what you'd like to do, there are always Wikipedia:Alternative outlets that might be better for you. If, on the other hand, you still want to push ahead with respect to Wikipedia, I suggest you take a look at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, Wikipedia:Notability (people), Wikipedia:Autobiography and Wikipedia:An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing. Finally, for more information as to why your Wikipedia:User page was deleted (see the post right above this one by Wikipedia administrator C.Fred), please take a look at Wikipedia:User pages#What may I not have in my user pages? and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a blog, web hosting service, social networking service, or memorial site. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:28, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

vertiport[edit]

It's not that easy that there are only issues concerning translation. Vertiport in English Wikipedia is redirected to Heliport, even they aren't the same but different subjects (see the articles). Because of this Draft:vertiport can't be renamed to vertiport. So please delete the redirection. Then two different articles can be created. Thanks in advance. @Leo067: I can't delete any pages because I'm not a Wikipedia administrator. My suggestion to you would be to submit the draft to WP:AFC for review; if it's approved by an AFC reviewer, the reviewer will take care of all of the cleanup need to move the draft to the article namespace, incliuding seeing that any redirects are deleted. I've added a Template:Submit to the top of the draft; click on the blue button "Submit the draft for review!" when you're ready to submit it. You should, however, do the following before submitting the draft for review. The section titled "Weblinks" appears to be an incorrectly translated (at least with respect to English Wikipedia articles); you should rename the section "External links" and move it to below the "References" section but above the categories as explained in WP:ORDER. In addition, you should remove the in-article attribution "Notes" section because it's not needed; the attribution given on the draft's talk page is more than sufficient. -- 10:11, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
