I guess the events described in this page are not related to this Dmytrivka town, but to a town with the same name located elsewhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.56.181.144 (talk) 12:49, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly. Map points to somewhere far from border with Russia, yet the article states it lies nearby.IHasBecauseOfLocks (talk) 09:56, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This page is referenced from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Airlines_Flight_17, but correct location would appear to be: Dmytrivka, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. Compare this in Google Maps to the suspected launch location in a map: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/07/18/world/europe/malaysia-airlines-flight-mh17-q-a.html and you can see it is towards the southeast of the previous location, closer to the Russian border. Alternately, it could be Dmytrivka, Luhans'ka oblast, Ukraine, but another article, http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/07/18/after-mh17-shot-down-video-allegedly-shows-buk-launcher-missing-one-of-four-missiles-being-moved-to-russia/, mentions Krasnodon, Luhans'ka oblast, Ukraine, which is about midway either one and further to the east. 94.210.133.167 (talk) 16:21, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
