WCG Ultimate Gamer Season 1 & 2, Relevance?[edit]

WCG Ultimate Gamer is a reality tv show where they played mostly noncompetetive games like Project Gotham Racing 4, does it really belong on this page? Gröngroda (talk) 10:54, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Its not an esports event though. If you actually watch an episode you can see how totally irrelevant the show is to this topic. 2010 in gaming related reality tv? Sure. 2010 in esports? absolutely not. The show has so much irrelevant drama and very clearly scripted plot points throughout the episodes it makes you wonder if the games were rigged as well. While some notable progamers like iNcontrol were features on the show it was hardly a legimitate esports competition especially considering half of the show was doing a real life counterpart to the game you were playing, ie. if the game was Project Gotham Racing 4 they would also have to compete in racing in the same episode Gröngroda (talk) 21:23, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
