Is this the only battle for this "campaign"? If so, why does it get its own campaignbox? One battle does not equal a campaign. Roy Al Blue 00:06, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quite the contrary — a campaign could take a long time and cover a great distance and have only one battle, or even no battles at all. See: http://www.nps.gov/hps/abpp/battles/bycampgn.htm which was the basis for most of the campaignboxes on Wikipedia. That site lists numerous one battle campaigns. Also see Tudor Vladimirescu#Uprising. His campaign started in January 1821 and in May 1821 it was over with no battles fought, just an advance on, and occupation of Bucharest in March and two months rule. Then the retreat of Tudor's army in May, as the Ottomans occupied Bucharest without meeting resistance. That's still a campaign. Mojoworker (talk) 21:40, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
