I recently noticed this user, Princess of Ara. An editor who works mainly on Nigerian related articles and others. While trying to appreciate the user's effort, I got in love with the lovely articles, well sources, written from a volunteer in good faith and now, I am requesting that she be granted the auto patrol user right.  Not done I've looked at your last ten articles, which takes me back a couple of years. I note that some admins here decline requests if the rate of new articles is low, which this is. I don't mind a low rate of article creation, but they do have to be clean. I've done some editing of some of your articles, leaving detailed edit summaries from which you will hopefully pick up a few things. What tipped things over the edge, though, is you moving this draft from another user to mainspace and then leaving it in that poor state; that's the exact opposite of a clean article. List of Nigerian films of 2023 is also clearly unfinished; there's no problem with work to be incomplete, but it shouldn't have empty sections or empty tables. If you go back and tidy up previous sins and produce a few more (clean) articles, please feel free to come back and I'd be happy to take another look, Princess of Ara. I have created 79 articles, primarily focused on Sinophone cinema and fantasy literature, with 2 currently undergoing GAN. All of my articles have been promptly reviewed, and none of them have been deleted or marked for maintenance. I am requesting autopatrolled rights to alleviate the workload of the patrollers, especially those who actively review film articles and have reviewed the majority of my articles, allowing them to allocate more time to address articles that truly require attention. As a side note, I am a veteran editor with patroller rights on Chinese Wikipedia, having authored over 200 articles, including a dozen featured and good articles. Only three were deleted, mainly due to changes in election results affecting their notability. Well, no hard feeling for the denial as before. You administrators are too quick to impose WP:CIR against a new editor. But you never exercise WP:CIRNOT and go straight to the 4th of WP: CIRRESP. For a while now, I have been requesting individual files so I can override them with updated data or shape the maps.  Not done Autopatrolled would not aid with election maps. While you have created 61 articles, many of them such as 2010 Tennessee Senate election and 2008 Tennessee House of Representatives election are not free of issues and require additional attention. - Aoidh (talk) 01:54, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you're referring to uploading a new version of files like in this comment then if they're on Commons then it would be handled through Commons, but either way isn't something Wikipedia:Autopatrolled on the English Wikipedia would help with in any way. - Aoidh (talk) 06:08, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
