It is unfortunate that this category is called "opera terminology" because many of the terms are not exclusive to opera, but are appropriate to singing in general (whatever genre). Similarly, there is a template called opera terms which should be combined with this page, and both renamed "vocal" or "singing" terms. Categories are not exclusive. Articles can belong to more than one. This category fulfills a useful purpose in collecting together articles on terms relating to opera for readers of opera articles. There is no reason to rename it. -- Kleinzach 14:56, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
