Father, Mother, Sister, Brother is an upcoming American comedy drama anthology film written and directed by Jim Jarmusch. It stars Cate Blanchett, Vicky Krieps, Adam Driver, Mayim Bialik, Tom Waits, Charlotte Rampling, Indya Moore and Luka Sabbat.

Development[edit]
Speaking at the Outlook Festival in April 2023, Jarmusch said he was working on a new film that was a "very subtle film; it’s very quiet…Funny and sad". He hinted that the film may not have any music.[1] In November 2023, it was reported that the title of the film would be Father, Mother, Sister, Brother.[2] The film is reportedly produced by Exoskeleton with Animal Kingdom and CG Cinema.[3]
Casting[edit]
In December 2023, it was reported that Cate Blanchett was cast in the film.[4] In January 2024, set photos showed Vicky Krieps in costume on set.[5] In May 2024, Adam Driver, Mayim Bialik, Tom Waits, Charlotte Rampling, Indya Moore and Luka Sabbat were announced to be part of the cast.[6][7]
Filming[edit]
Principal photography began in November 2023 in West Milford, New Jersey.[8] Filming took place in Dublin in early 2024.[9] Filming wrapped in Paris in early 2024.[10]
