As far as I hear it correctly, a part of version May 25 2012 audio signal is incorrect. The audio contains two signals: one consisting of high frequency (but low amplitude) beeps, which gives SOS correctly. The second signal, consisting of low frequency (but high amplitude) knocking unfortunately is not SOS ...---... but ...--.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.153.84.210 (talk) 22:39, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The current iteration of this file is incorrect. It has three dots, three dashes, and two dots, which spells SOI, not SOS. Obviously a dot is missing at the end of the recording. --Craig (t|c) 07:45, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Same here. I fixed it and reuploaded it - for some reason the original file is fine, but in-browser it cuts off the end. Adding silence to the end fixes that. StuartH (talk) 14:22, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Editing audio files is not on my list of skills. :) --Craig (t|c) 11:49, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
