Clan Guthrie - Article re-write[edit]

The original article was using bare URL's as references I have reformatted the references to the required Wikipedia standards. Just using a bare web address is not acceptable. Most of the information in the history section remains as before but with a published source as reference rather than unreliable websites. Lists of famous people bearing the clan surname are not supposed to be used in clan articles unless they are directly connected with the clan - they are supposed to go on the surname disambiguation page such as here: Guthrie. The version of the article that I have written is far more accurately sourced and meets Wikipedia standards, the previous version did not.QuintusPetillius (talk) 09:40, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Further to my above post. The previous version of the article was also in copyright violation of a number of the websites that it was citing as a source. (again as bare URL's).QuintusPetillius (talk) 15:15, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
