This guy is pretty interesting, but it's hard to find much info about him. I (Philly native) remember when he went bankrupt back in the 1960s, I thought it was fascinating that someone could have $100 million and still be flat broke—a pre-cursor of Donald Trump! I recently saw a TV documentary on the John Hancock Center, which covered Wolman's role in getting it off (on?) the ground. I just read somewhere that not long ago, he and some other investors tried to buy the Washington Redskins for $800 million--evidently he's back in the black!--BillFlis 22:15, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I searched Goggle for "Jerry Wolman" and came up with 75,500 hits. Now I don't have to rely on third hand accounts if I want information. I just ask Jerry. One of the nice things about my friendship with Jerry is that when I met him I had no idea who he was. He was just some guy who needed help in setting up a computer network and some software. I am a Redskins fan and the name Jerry Wolamn did not click. We are just two guys that enjoy talking; most of the time is is just what one friend would say to another. I have suggested Jerry contact you. You may find him as personable, honest, and forthcoming as I do if he does. I suggested that he do so through your user talk page. Yes. I see. You can't publish what Jerry says to you, but you could publish what Jerry says to another author once it is published. But then there is the pesky copyright issue. And then there is the interjection of your or the posters own interpretation of the information. I think that is a bit stupid on Wikipedia's part, but hey, it's the Internet.

Such a simple fact as his date of birth is elusive, that's the main thing I was commenting on. And if somebody puts something on a talk page, how do I know it's really him? His birthday? :-) Obviously, I am not going to give out his personal information. But see, if you had taken me up on that offer, you could have asked him that. I was not suggesting that he and you exchange facts on a talk page. I just thought that you might arrange to speak in person. Share lunch and a chat at a good deli. It would be something if the moron who wrote the above statement identified himself. As he is a liar and can only be writing the above out of envy and jealousy. If yyou were not such a coward and liar you would identify yourself, so that it can be proven that you are a liar and a cheat. I know Jerry[edit]

He has always treated me fairly and I have found him to be a man of honor in our dealings. He has always kept his word with me. The assertions by Whiterabbitt are certainly not in my experience with Jerry. I find it amazing that potentially libelous statements can be made anonymously using words like "Possibly" and pass the test for being posted. Truly sad for wikipedia. Question on accuracy[edit]

The article on the John Hancock Center says it is a 100 story building. The article on Jerry says it is 110 stories. The web site for the John Hancock Center says, "JOHN HANCOCK CENTER is a 100-story, Class A multi-use building," ref. http://www.johnhancockcenterchicago.com/Index3.htm . I have edited the article. I know from talking with Jerry that that was one of his disappointments that he originally wanted the John Hancock Center to be the tallest building in the world. I would also take issue with the use o the word "forced" in the statement "Wolman had also initiated the development of the John Hancock Center, a 100-story skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois, but was forced off the project because of his financial difficulties." As I understand it from Jerry and as confirmed in the history of the John Hancock Center presented on the University of Illinois - Urbana architectural web site, http://www2.arch.uiuc.edu/aamin/451/Chicago/Fall2005/Pergande/HISTORY.htm , Jerry withdrew from the project. It may be considered semantics, but I think it is important not to choose words that intentionally besmirch the character of anyone and think the change to "withdrew" with proper phrasing is more accurate. Acting Credits[edit]

This stub is in Google when searching for Charlie Sheen and piano, but neither IMDB nor Wikipedia show an episode of "Two and a Half Men" called "Fiddler on the Roof". I searched Google as well. I'm also wondering about this "Invincible" credit. IMDB lists more than 30 uncredited people and this guy isn't in there. If someone is posting television and movie credits, shouldn't they actually be sourced? And if they can't be sourced, shouldn't they be removed?
