	List of Sigma Xi chapters is part of the Fraternities and Sororities WikiProject, an effort to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to Greek Life on the Wikipedia. This includes but is not limited to International social societies, local organizations, honor societies, and their members. Initial list creation[edit]

This list is complete through approximately 1977, with most details taken from Baird's Manual (20th ed.) However, that book repeated the list that was available for the 19th ed., and according to the national website, numerous chapters have been added. National staff or interested parties may help by correcting any fields marked with a question ("?"), indicating ambiguity or missing information.
