Separate PPM and Prospectus.[edit]
A prospectus is used when referring to a registered and fully disclosed security, a private placement memorandum is used for Unregistered securities that are exempt from registration using the Regulation D exemption rules. Please separate PPM and Prospectus.
Mutual funds[edit]
Mutual funds also have prospectuses, and are required to provide them to prospective shareholders and to existing shareholders when material changes occur (such as a change in investment policies or redemption fees). 66.92.79.129 (talk) 00:35, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
