Chernoybl participation[edit]

The Victor Popov that this page mentions is a theoretical physicist, known for his contributions to Quantum Field Theory. It seems unlikely that he is the same person mentioned in this BBC Horizon documentary on the Chernobyl disaster. The documentary states that as of 1996 he ("Viktor Popov") was working in the Ukrainian government, whilst this article states that Victor Popov died in 1994. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.77.170.222 (talk) 13:48, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
