Moresby Island is the northernmost island on the Peros Banhos Atoll in the Chagos Archipelago of the British Indian Ocean Territory.^[1]^[2] The island was named after Robert Moresby.^[2] It is one of two islands in the archipelago with mangroves.^[3]
