Europrotomus is an extinct gastropod which existed during the Miocene in what is now Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania. It was described as a new genus for the species Strombus schroeckingeri by Gijs C. Kronenberg and Mathias Harzhauser in 2012.[1]
