Penicillium citrinum is a anamorph fungus species of the genus of Penicillium which produces tanzawaic acid A-D, ACC and nephrotoxic citrinin.[1][3][4][5][6][7][8] Penicillium citrinum is often found on moldy citrus fruits and occasionally it occurs in tropical spices and cereals.[9]
