The 7th Young Critics Circle Awards, conferred on 18 February 1997 at the Faculty Center Conference Hall (Pulungang Recto, Bulwagang Rizal), University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, honored the best of Philippine cinema of 1996.[1]
