Aşk-ı Memnu (English: Forbidden Love) is a Turkish romantic drama television series produced by Ay Yapım Productions and originally broadcasting by Kanal D between 2008 and 2010. It has been adapted from Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's novel Aşk-ı Memnu, but takes place in the modern-day Istanbul instead of the novel's late 19th-century setting.

Rich widower Adnan Ziyagil lives in a mansion on the shore of Istanbul's bosporus strait with his two children Nihal and Bülent, playboy Behlül, who is a distant relative, and the children’s nanny Deniz. When Adnan meets Bihter, a much younger woman, he suddenly falls in love with her. Bihter is also a socialite couple’s daughter and agrees to marry him thinking this as a form of revenge against her mother Firdevs who fancies Adnan. Despite opposition from Adnan's children and Firdevs, the marriage goes ahead. It received high praise during it's original run and were one of favourite tv shows of its time.
