A Great Deliverance[1] (ISBN 978-0-553-27802-6) is a book written by Elizabeth George[2][3] and published by Bantam Books (now owned by Random House[4]) on 1 May 1988 which later went on to win the Anthony Award for Best First Novel in 1989.[5]
