The Aghajari oil field is an oil field located in Khuzestan Province. It was discovered in 1938 and developed by National Iranian Oil Company. It began production in 1940 and produces oil. The total proven reserves of the Aghajari oil field are around 28 billion barrels (3758×106tonnes), and production is centered on 300,000 barrels per day (48,000 m3/d).[1][2]
