Alexandru Crețu (born 24 April 1992 in Pașcani) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays for NK Olimpija Ljubljana as a defensive midfielder.

Club career

Crețu came into the spotlight during the 2012–13 season with a string of good displays as a centre back for Politehnica Iași.^[1]

In December 2016, Crețu signed a three-and-a-half years contract with the Slovenian club NK Olimpija Ljubljana.^[2]

Crețu was a member of the Romanian under-21 youth team.^[3]
