Anthony C. Ferrante is an American film director,[1] producer and writer,[1] perhaps best known for directing the 2013 film Sharknado[1] and the 2005 ghost story film Boo, which was his feature writing and directing debut.[citation needed]

Ferrante is a graduate of San Francisco State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Film Degree.[citation needed] He also attended Los Medanos College where he received an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies Degree.[citation needed]

In addition to his film career, he has written a comic, Archie vs. Sharknado, which is a tie-in to Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! and is illustrated by Dan Parent.[2]
