Front of new Theatre

Anthony E. Zuiker (born August 17, 1968) is the creator and executive producer of the television show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He produces all three editions of the CSI franchise: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation , CSI: Miami and CSI: NY. Zuiker was born in Blue Island, Illinois and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

It is widely believed that Mr. Zuiker was developing his ideas for the television show while working at Steve Wynn's first megaresort, The Mirage, as a valet attendant/bellhop/tram host.

On October 25, 2007, he received the Big Brother Award Austria 2007 in the category of communication and marketing. The jury stated among other things, "The CSI television series present computer surveillance, DNA-analysis and the overthrow of civil rights in an uncritical, trivialized and dangerously onesided kind of way". Furthermore the rights of people in general and the suspects in particular would be pictured primarily as impediments of investigations.

Philanthropy

A new school theatre is named after him: Anthony E. Zuiker Theatre at Chaparral High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Zuiker was a 1986 graduate of this high school.
