Asakusa Station (浅草駅 -eki) is a train station of the Metropolitan Intercity Railway Company located in the Asakusa district of Taito, Tokyo, Japan. Its station number is 03.

Note that Asakusa Station of Tokyo Metro, the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation and Tobu Railway is located about 600 m to the east of this station.

The single island platform is located four levels underground.

Around the station

The station is about 300m to the west of Sensō-ji temple.

The Rox Department store can be reached from the southeast of the station, and the Asakusa View Hotel is located at the northeast corner of the station. The station is also surrounded by a variety of restaurants, theaters, pachinko parlors and an amusement park .

The station opened on August 24, 2005.
