In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Awang Sahari is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Awang Ahmad Sah. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.

Awang Ahmad Sah bin Awang Sahari is a Malaysian politician from WARISAN. He has been the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly for Petagas since 2020.

Education

He studied in the Buit Hill Primary School and in the Sabah College. He is a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hawaii Pacific University, Master of Arts in Political Science and Master of Science in Agriculture Economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.[1]

Politics

He is currently the WARISAN Division Chief of Putatan, the Treasurer-General of WARISAN and member of Supreme Council of WARISAN.[2] He was the Information Chief of WARISAN from 2021 to 2022. He was also the Deputy Chairman of STAR before joining WARISAN.[3]
