BMC Public Health is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal that publishes papers on epidemiology of disease and various aspects of public health.[1][2][3]

The journal was established in 2001 and is published by Springer Science+Business Media.

Editorial process and journal scope

Journal publishes articles on theory and practical applications of research results and theoretical and methodological issues related to public health. Topics of interest encompass various aspects of public health for example biostatistics, dental health, digital health, environmental health, global health, mental health, occupational health etc.[1][4][5]

As of 2022 among editorial board members are Chris I. Ardern from Faculty of Health at York University, Noriko Cable from University College London, Jennifer Emond from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College etc.[6]
