Burnaby News Leader is a newspaper in Burnaby, British Columbia published weekly. Founded in 1989 published Wednesday and Friday. It was awarded Newspaper of the Year in 2009 by Suburban Newspapers of America.[1]

In 2015, Black Press sold the News Leader to Glacier Media.[2] In September 2015, Glacier announced the closure of the News Leader, New Westminster News Leader and Tri-City Now as of October 1.[3]
