Buzzie is an American pop rock band most popular in the early 2000's. Buzzie may be considered as representative of the melodic sound of Indie Pop Rock pop rock.

Buzzie was formed in 2000, after lead singer and songwriter John McElhenney left his popular pop band Blue Cartoon after two acclaimed CDs. Buzzie has performed at the International Pop Overthrow in Los Angeles and been featured on numerous compilations. In 2011 Buzzie released an EP of songs entitled Shooting Beer Cans Off the Buddha in anticipation of a full-length disc expected in 2012.

The most recent line up of Buzzie consisted of the following musicians.

  • wit williams – guitar noises
  • scrappy judd newcomb – guitar and lead guitar
  • dana myser – drums
