Certifications in Digital Forensics are typically professional certifications which are awarded for some demonstration of skills or completion of an examination. Some certifications such as the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) (from ISFCE.ORG) and the GCFA (SANS.ORG) are called vendor neutral certifications while others are oriented towards forensics software tools, ENCE and ACE.

Other offerings may appear from university programs.

Certificates have varying requirements and may call for years of industry experience, education, training, etc.
